I very much love trees. I know the trees in my yard and regard them as companions. It's a very interesting relationship we have, me and the trees. When the wildfires were threatening us, and the sky was orange, my trees were curling leaves, dry. It was terrible to see. Now, all are lush and green. Douglas Firs, Dogwood, weeping willows, Japanese maple, incense cedars, bigleaf maple, pink flowering dogwood. Yew. A fig tree. Many, many trees.
